Reset Password Router Cisco

Untuk melakukan Reset Router CISCO 1800 Series, hubungkan router
dengan PC atau Laptop menggunakan Cable Console buka program
hyperterminal (ada di All Program - Accessories - Communications) .
Setelah itu matikanlah router, kemudian pada keyboard computer tekan
Control+break, dan nyalakan lagi router. Tahan sebentar tombol
Control+break pada keyboard sampai muncul tulisan seperti berikut :

untuk membuat password untuk akses dengan telnet ke router dengan password "hendra123"

Karena menggunakan confreg 0x2142 (sebenarnya confreg ini digunakan untuk
mereset password/recovery password cisco router)maka harus direstore ke confreg 0x2102
Router(config)#config-register 0x2102 (enter)
Akan Muncul Pesan :
Configuration register is 0x2142 (will be 0x2102 at next reload)

Lakukan Restart
Router#reload
